Program Goals

The Middle East and West are connected inextricably by the big three global issues of security, energy, and religion. The current models of addressing challenges on conflict and terrorism, resource procurement and usage, and rising religious fundamentalism, are falling short. The world needs innovative models and approaches based on a new line of thinking to make meaningful progress.

We are looking to the next generation of leaders who recognize that “Problems cannot be solved at the same level of thinking that created them.” –Albert Einstein.

Our Warriors for Peace® program will,

• Support, gather, and energize the world’s next generation innovators on peace and sustainability through personal interactions and relationships to build understanding of today’s challenges and opportunities with the Middle East.

• Provide forums for WFP to inspire and learn from each other in peer to peer coaching sessions—as well as to amplify their work and ideas to larger audiences.

• Establish a network and community of the leading early-adopters of conflict transformation, sustainability, in order to maximize WFP unique role as leaders within their organizations and broader communities.
