Hearing why many Lebanese support Hizballah–even Christians and secularists. Observing team-building training with Iraqis fascinating too!

E.I. "Warriors for Peace" Pledge Kickoff Sponsored by Amnesty Int'l Chapter

by admin on March 10, 2009
New Warriors for Peace!

New Warriors for Peace!

Yesterday marked the official kick-off of the Euphrates Institute “Warriors for Peace” Pledge! The Amnesty International Principia Chapter sponsored a signing booth on the college campus and tirelessly promoted the concept of Warriors for Peace and directed individuals to sign the pledge on the website. http://www.euphratesinstitute.org/discussion.

Through the ideas and feedback generated, we were also able to revise the pledge wording, which made it much more pithy and positive.

Also, I just set up a new topic in the discussion forum so anyone can revise the Pledge with the wording and language that speaks to them the most, (keeping in mind the key elements of the “Warrior for Peace” concept), and share their revision with others.

I look forward to hearing what you all come up with and coming up with a Pledge that is a living document that all had a part in shaping!
